Summer training woooo
SOO my summer traininig schedule started Thursday and it’s been going well so far. We basically have 30 minute runs like every other day… idk. It’s still kind of weird to me but it seems fine so far. My 30 minute runs have been pretty good I guess. I’ve had to force myself to stay at an eaassssyy pace, which is kinda hard/boring when I’m by myself. They’re okay though. Better get use to them…
But then today the workout was mile repeats. 3 of them with 3 minutes rest. I did the first 2 with these two girls on my team who were at the track this morning too and we hit 8:04 and 8:03 ish and then for my last one by myself I hit 7:47. They were suppose to be at your 10k pace so I would deffinitly say that we went on pace with that. The ones I did with the girls felt pretty good actually and I felt like I could go faster but then the one by myself felt a lot harder. Idk. We also took a lot more than 3 minutes rest… but whatever. I think the times would have still been pretty much the same. I thought it went pretty well though for this being my first actual workout in over a month and I just am looking forward to seeing what my times are next week.
